Day 14: Travel to Cinque Terre via Massa Marittima

August 2, 2014 Cinque Terre was officially "our vacation from our vacation" and we sorely needed it! On the way, we stopped in the hillside town of Massa Marittima for a food and wine tasting. In Monterosso, one of the villages of Cinque Terre, our hotel was just a couple of blocks from the ocean. For dinner we had pesto pasta and sea bass. Going for a night swim in the Mediterranean was one of the highlights of the trip.
