Day 22: Last morning in Paris and Flying Home

 

August 10, 2014 We took a taxi to the airport. It was sad driving past all the streets and buildings we had learned to recognize during our stay. It was like leaving the other cities we had been to, but now we were leaving Europe. We did some duty free shopping since our flight was delyed an hour and we still had Euros to spend. It was 7:00 pm when we landed back in Washington D.C. When we saw a baseball game on the airport televisions, we knew we were in America.
